This book plunged me into the tangled lives of Elisabeth, Andrew, and Erickson in a way that felt intensely personal and real. Jimmy Hugoson masterfully navigates the complexities of love and relationships, capturing the essence of human emotions with beautiful prose. As Elisabeth’s world unraveled, I found myself deeply invested in her journey of love, choices, and self-discovery. This book reminded me that the path to true happiness is never straightforward and often requires making tough decisions.

I read this book during a weekend getaway and couldn’t put it down. I didn’t realize until I started that this was the 3rd book in the series (now I definitely will go back to 1 and 2). The characters were well-developed, and the plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat. The author’s writing style is both poetic and engaging, making the story come alive. While the pacing was a bit slow at times, the overall story was worth the read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance with a touch of magic.

This final volume of the series is gorgeous. I enjoyed every line and the introduction of Bertrand adds something magical that makes me ask what next? Paris, the city of love is well described and at sometimes I feel I was walking in the streets myself and went to visit the Eiffel tower and Notre dame de Paris among other historical places.
